Näituseprojekt "Null eelarve" sai alguse 2022 aasta kevadel, mil kaks põgusat tuttavat said üle 5 aasta taas kokku ja seda kohas, kuhu kumbki tavaliselt ei satu. Oli see saatus või juhus - kes teab? Selle kohtumise käigus vahetasime lühidalt ülevaadet oma viimaste aastate tegevustest. Olid ju ajad piiratud võimalustega ja vaimse tervisega tegelemine osutus järjest olulisemaks.
Nii selguski, et kui üks oli tegelnud fotograafia õpingutega Eesti Kunstiakadeemia Avatud Akadeemias, siis teine oli asendanud aktiivse reisimise käsitöö vastu - meisterdades olemasolevatest materjalidest uusi kostüüme. Loomingulisust jätkus mõlemale ja vaatamata olukorrale oli võimalus seda perioodi pingevabamaks muuta läbi kreatiivsuse.
Üks mõte viis teiseni - kui ühel oli mida pildistada, siis teisel millega pildistada. Plaanid said paika - modellid leitud, koht ning kostüümid pildistamiseks olemas. Kõik ülejäänud sündis Tuula külas fotosessiooni käigus. Täiesti spontaalselt tekkisid fotolood ja kõik osapooled nautisid imelist suvepäeva ja ümbritsevad keskkonda. Koheselt oli ka selge, et need pildid ei jää kindlasti mitte ainult arvutisse ja kostüümid stangele tolmu korjama.
Näituseprojekt sai kiiresti paberile ja galeriigi leitud. Kuna kostüümide puhul kõlas pidevalt väljend "null eelarve", siis sealt ka projekti nimetus. Kõik puhas taaskasutus, mis on minu enda elustiiliks olnud juba aastakümneid ning tänapäeva tarbimisühiskonnas omamas järjest suuremat tähtsust.
Kui kostüümid olid null raha, siis paraku on fotodega keerulisem ning need vajasid eelarvet. Lähenesime olukorrale kreatiivselt, leides võimaluse võimalikult väikeste kulutustega pildid seinale saada. Siin pöördusimegi taaskasutuskeskuse Sõbralt Sõbrale poole,
kes oli lahkelt nõus varustama meid vanade pildiraamidega. Intallatsiooni ja piltide jaoks saime toetuse Hooandja projektist

The exhibition project "Zero budget" began in the spring of 2022, when two brief acquaintances got together again after more than 5 years, and in a place where neither of them usually go. Was it fate or chance - who knows? During this meeting, we briefly exchanged an overview of our activities in recent years. After all, there were times with limited opportunities and dealing with mental health turned out to be increasingly important. So it turned out that while one had studied photography at the Open Academy of the Estonian Academy of Arts, the other had replaced active traveling with crafts - making new costumes from existing materials. There was enough creativity for both, and despite the situation, there was an opportunity to make this period more relaxed through creativity. One thought led to another - if one had costumes to photograph, the other had camera to photograph. The planes were put in place - the models were found, the location and the costumes for the photo shoot are available. Everything else was born in Tuula village during the photo session. Photo stories were created completely spontaneously and all parties enjoyed a wonderful summer day and the surrounding environment. It was also immediately clear, that these pictures will definitely not only stay on the computer and the costumes will gather dust on the shelf. An exhibition project was quickly on paper and a gallery was found. Since the phrase "zero budget" was constantly heard, when it came to costumes, that's where the name of the project came from. All pure recycling, which has been my own lifestyle for decades and is increasingly important in today's consumer society. If the costumes were zero money, then photos unfortunately needed a budget. We approached the situation creatively, finding a way to get the pictures on the wall with as little expense as possible. Here we turned to the recycling center Sõbralt Sõbrale
